Let Criticism Fuel You

Lay Foundation With Bricks Others Have Thrown - David Brinkley

"A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with bricks others have thrown at him." - David Brinkley

When Edison was creating the lightbulb, Ford was building the Model T, and the Wright brothers were designing the first airplane - do you think anyone made fun of them, told them their ideas were insane, or told them they were wasting their time? Absolutely. In fact, they received more criticism than praise even from people closest to them who regularly told them to just quit.

If you have an idea that you feel passionately about, go for it. Don't let others take you down. Instead, use their criticism as fuel to push you even further. Stay committed, stay focused, stay resilient. Success is not attained overnight.

Remember, everyone thought Noah was insane too until it started to rain. Don't stop building.
